Three day Zazenkai Retreat
Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30, 2015
This 3-day silent meditation retreat will include zazen (meditation), chanting, kinhin (walking meditation), formal temple meals, work practice, Dharma talks, and optional one-on-one interviews with Sohan Noah Youngelson or Dokan Charles Martin regarding your practice.
This retreat is an opportunity for everyone — regardless of their level of experience — to extend their practice. For those that have a daily meditation practice, it’s an opportunity to get introduced to other aspects of formal Zen practice such as silent, oryoki meals. For those that have done day sits, it’s a chance to do a multi-day retreat. Everyone will find a new challenge for their practice.
