Mount Baldy Zen Center offers visiting and residential students, monks and priests, to train together in a unique setting.
There are two different types of training periods: summer and winter Seichu, and spring and fall Seikan.
Seichu periods are held in the summer and winter. They are formal training periods of retreat. The Seikan (spring and fall) periods are much less ‘monastic’: we mix more with the general public, and participate in more diverse activities during seikan.
