| Mt. Baldy Zen Center is pleased to welcome Shuyōkyū Minakawa Rōshi once again to lead this sesshin which commemorates the Buddha’s paranirvana. There will be daily teishō as well as dokusan — with a translator present — for those who wish to do Kōan practice. |
| Kiryūken Shyōkyū Minakawa Rōshi is abbot of Zuiryū-ji as well as recently founded Sapporo Zen Center in Hokkaido, Japan. Minakawa Rōshi was trained at Zuigan Sōdō in Matsushima where Jōshū Rōshi trained. Minakawa Rōshi is one of very few Rinzai Rōshis in Japan who gives Dokusan daily to lay practioners. |
